MILLVILLE – A collision between a vehicle and a golf cart occurred on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 9:49 PM near the Bethel Tabernacle Parsonage located at 34166 Omar Road in Millville.
Emergency services, including Millville and Frankford Volunteer Fire Companies, Sussex County Paramedics, Life-Net, and Trooper 2, were dispatched to the scene. The first responders on site reported that one individual was found trapped under the vehicle and a second was in the road.
Command on the scene declared the incident a level 1 Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) and began coordinating with area hospitals. Due to the severity of their injuries both patients were airlifted to Christiana Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center.
