The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday at approximately 9:06 p.m., inside a residence located in the 200 block of West 20th Street.
Officials said upon arrival, police found a 39-year-old male with gunshot wounds. Paramedics who responded pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Wilmington Police have not released further details at this time but have stated that more information will be made available when possible.
