Wilmington Police Department (WPD) has released an update on the fatal vehicle collision that occurred in the 100 block of North Monroe Street.
The incident took place on Monday, around 5:49 a.m. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the victim deceased at the scene. The WPD Traffic Unit has conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Officials said according to the preliminary investigation, Glenn DuPont, aged 38, was in the roadway prior to being struck by a bus.
