Sanitation Worker Airlifted After Being Struck In Felton Wednesday Morning

Emergency Response Teams and Delaware State Police Aviation Respond to Pedestrian Accident on Edwardsville Road in Felton

Just after 6:20 Wednesday morning emergency response teams were dispatched to the 1000 block of Edwardsville Road in Felton, following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

According to initial reports from the scene, the pedestrian involved in the incident is a sanitation worker. The worker was reportedly struck by a vehicle while picking up trash on Edwardsville Road.

The workers has been airlifted to Christiana Hospital by Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 2 helicopter.
