Police: Woman’s Xfinity Account Deactivated By Unknown Actor

Regional Desk: On December 19, 2023, Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Avondale Troopers responded to the lobby of PSP Avondale to assist a Kennett Square woman with identity theft.

Upon their arrival, the troopers made contact with the victim, who reported that her Xfinity account had been deactivated by an unknown individual.

The details of the incident suggest that the victim’s account was tampered with without her consent.

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the matter to determine the circumstances of the account deactivation and to identify the person responsible for the alleged identity theft.
