Just after 3:00 Saturday morning rescue crews responded to the 100 block of Union Street in Bridgeville for reports of a police action.
Details regarding the incident have not been released by police, however, initial reports from the scene indicate that two people were found shot at that location.
A woman at the scene was transported via Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 2 to Christiana Hospital reportedly suffering from a gunshot wound.
