A driver was transported to Christiana Hospital following a single-vehicle accident early Friday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Summit Bridge Road and Garcia Drive in Middletown at approximately 6:46 AM.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene where they found a vehicle that had collided with a pole. Crews worked for approximately twenty minutes to extricate the patient.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that the driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the emergency room at Christiana Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
