Photos: Firefighter Battling Fire At Concord Pike McDonalds

Firefighters have responded to the McDonald’s restaurant located at 2507 Concord Pike in Wilmington.

Upon arrival, the Talleyville Fire Company observed smoke coming from the roof of the building. In response, firefighters from various departments across Northern New Castle County and Delaware County have been dispatched to provide assistance.

The efforts to contain the fire are currently underway, involving multiple units from the surrounding areas.

Concord Pike is closed in the affected area. Motorists are advised to avoid the vicinity of 2507 Concord Pike and seek alternative routes. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available. The public’s cooperation and understanding are appreciated during this emergency response effort.

Crews are reporting two patients suffering from smoke inhalation.
