Woman Killed In Crossbow Incident Identified

On Wednesday afternoon, at approximately 4:40, Deputies with the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home in the 700 block of Bell Manor Road in western Cecil County, Maryland for a report of a subject that was struck with an arrow.  The arrow was fired from a crossbow, which belonged to an occupant of the residence according to police.

Upon the Deputies’ arrival, and with the assistance of paramedics from Cecil County Emergency Services, medical aid was rendered to the victim, Judy Elizabeth Gee, 45 years of age.  Gee was transported by ground ambulance to Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster PA.  Life-saving measures were attempted by medical staff, however, Gee succumbed to her injuries. 

Officials said this matter is still being investigated by Detectives with the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the States Attorney’s Office for Cecil County.  An autopsy is currently being performed in Pennsylvania where the victim was pronounced deceased.  No arrests have been made in this investigation; however, all interested parties have been identified police said.
