Worker Airlifted After Long Fall In Dover

Just before 7:50 Wednesday evening, Kent County Paramedics, St. Francis Ambulance, and Delaware State police aviation’s Trooper 4 responded to Dover Downs on N. Dupont Highway, Dover for reports of a long fall.

Initial reports from the scene indicated that a worker inside the track fell from a 30-foot lift onto a concrete surface. Crews arrived and worked to stabilize the patient for transport.

Just before 8:15 Trooper 4 landed inside the track where the patient was loaded and transported to Christiana Hospital.

The condition of the patient was not immediately available.
