The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred earlier today at a kiosk inside the Christiana Mall in Newark.
Officials said on May 10, 2024, at approximately 11:15 a.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at the WikiWoo kiosk located inside the Christiana Mall at 132 Christiana Mall Road in Newark.
During the preliminary investigation, detectives learned that an unknown male suspect approached a WikiWoo employee at the kiosk and demanded money from the cash register.
The employee did not comply, and the suspect reached into his pocket for an unknown object, while threatening to harm the employee police said. The employee still did not comply, and the suspect ran out of the mall.
