Man On A Walk Robbed Saturday

The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Saturday night in Frederica.

Officials said on July 6, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery that occurred on Sycamore Drive in Frederica. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was walking on Sycamore Drive when she was approached by an unknown black male suspect on a bicycle.

The suspect demanded money from the victim before he proceeded to steal the victim’s backpack. The suspect then fled south on Sycamore Drive on the bicycle with the victim’s property. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark-colored clothing.
