Woman Trapped After Crash Saturday

The Delaware State Police a crash that trapped a woman on Saturday afternoon.

Officials said at approximately 4:40 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the North DuPont Highway near School Lane following reports of a motor vehicle collision involving entrapment.

Upon arrival, crews found a 64-year-old female with head injuries and potential internal injuries. After being extricated from the vehicle, she was transported by New Castle County Paramedics on board a Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance to Christiana Hospital in Stanton. She was reported to be in serious but stable condition.
