Four Reportedly Injured In Accident Wednesday Morning

Delaware State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday morning in Bear, sending four individuals to the hospital.

At approximately 10:45 a.m., rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics, responded to the intersection of Bear Christiana Road and Pulaski Highway for reports of a crash involving multiple vehicles. Initial reports indicated that three individuals at the scene were in need of care and that entrapment was involved.

Upon arrival, first responders determined that there was no entrapment, contrary to earlier reports. However, three patients required ALS care. Command later reported that a total of four individuals required medical attention.

All four patients were reportedly transported to Christiana Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The Delaware State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
