Young Man Shot In Broad Daylight Wednesday

Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a young man hospitalized Wednesday.

Wilmington police and rescue crews responded to the area of North Market Street and East 30th Street shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities later confirmed that the victim was a 23-year-old male who was in stable condition following the incident.
