Happening Now: Pedestrian Struck By Train In New Castle

​A male pedestrian was struck by a train in New Castle on Thursday evening, leading to a response from emergency crews. The incident occurred shortly after 5:50 p.m. near the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Wilton Boulevard.​

Rescue crews from the Christiana and Goodwill Fire Companies, along with New Castle County Paramedics, arrived at the scene following reports of pedestrian being struck by a train. Initial assessments indicated that the individual was struck at a low speed. He was subsequently transported to Christiana Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.​
