Man, 37 Shot In Wilmington Thursday

WILMINGTON, Del. – Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday afternoon in the city.

At approximately 1:58 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1700 block of North Church Street. Upon arrival, police located a 37-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The incident remains under investigation.
