Wilmington Police have identified the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred on May 16, 2025, in the 700 block of West 6th Street as 24-year-old Cashis Boston.
At approximately 4:54 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area and located Boston suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
