Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday evening in the 500 block of West 9th Street.
Authorities say the incident happened at approximately 6:10 p.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire and found a 32-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
