Off-Road Crash Sends One To Hospital Monday Night

Emergency crews responded to White Clay Creek on Monday evening after reports of a vehicle in the water.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. on August 11, 2025, New Castle County Paramedics and multiple surrounding fire companies were dispatched to the area of Old Route 7, where they located an off-road vehicle down an embankment and partially submerged in the creek.

Paramedics treated a 30-year-old man at the scene for an arm injury. He was transported in stable condition to Christiana Hospital in Stanton by a Minquas Fire Company ambulance.

The Delaware State Police are investigating the incident. Responding agencies included New Castle County EMS, Minquas Fire Company, Christiana Fire Company, Good Will Fire Company, Hockessin Fire Company, Mill Creek Fire Company, Delaware Natural Resources Police, and Delaware State Police.
