Three Injured In Newark Rollover Crash Thursday

Newark — Emergency crews responded to a crash with an overturned vehicle at the intersection of East Chestnut Hill Road and Salem Church Road on Thursday morning.

The collision was reported at 8:39 a.m., prompting dispatch of New Castle County Paramedics and the Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company. Responding units arrived to find two vehicles involved in the crash. Three patients were evaluated, treated, and transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

A 49-year-old woman was treated for a leg injury, a 6-year-old girl sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and a woman approximately 35 years old was also transported after receiving treatment. All three patients were attended to by New Castle County Paramedics on board Aetna ambulances.

The Delaware State Police are investigating the crash. Agencies on scene included New Castle County EMS, Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company, and Delaware State Police.
