Wilmington Police continue to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in the unit block of Stroud Street.
At approximately 2:36 p.m. on October 11, 2025, officers responded to the scene and located a 33-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have since identified the victim as Desmond Scott.
