Altercation At Casino Leads To Drug, Human Trafficking Charges

The Dover Police Department announced the arrest of Antwan Freeman, 44, of Dover, on drug and human trafficking charges following an investigation at Bally’s Casino on Friday.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the casino in response to a reported physical altercation, which led to further investigation and a search of a hotel room associated with Freeman. Police said the search resulted in the seizure of approximately 10.1 grams of crack cocaine, 3.63 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 57.6 grams of PCP, 19 doses of alprazolam, $465 in suspected drug proceeds, and equipment allegedly used to manufacture crack cocaine. Investigators further alleged that Freeman was trafficking an adult female who was present in the room at the time of the investigation.

Freeman was taken into custody without incident and charged, according to police, with possession with intent to deliver PCP, possession of PCP, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking an individual, and human trafficking involving sexual servitude.

Police said Freeman was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $130,200 cash bond.
