School Bus Driver Charged With Patronizing A Prostitute

The Dover Police Department arrested Alvin Rohm, 62, of Dover on charges stemming from a January 6th incident. While a local school district employee was reviewing video while investigating an unrelated incident on a school bus, the employee discovered footage showing the driver, Rohm, picking up a female in the area of Governors Avenue at Loockerman Street, then proceeding to Jerusalem Way.

Officials said once parked in the area of Jerusalem Way, Rohm was shown engaging in sex acts with the female and allegedly exchanging money with the woman. Rohm is not employed by a school district and was employed by a contracted bus service.

The video was turned over to Dover Police where an investigation led to Rohm being arrested and charged with the following offenses:
Patronizing a Prostitute within 1000 feet of School, Resident, Church or Place
Lewdness

Rohm was arrested on January 12th without incident and released on an O.R. bond.
