A Seaford man has been arrested on a sixth-offense felony driving under the influence charge following a traffic stop late Friday night in Harrington, according to authorities.
The arrest occurred on February 13, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., when a trooper with the Delaware State Police observed a Ford F-150 traveling southbound on South Dupont Highway near Williamsville Road with an equipment violation. The vehicle was stopped, and the driver was identified as 44-year-old Marrco Bryant of Seaford.
Police reported that Bryant displayed several signs of impairment during initial contact. He was asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, during which additional indicators of impairment were observed. Bryant was taken into custody without incident.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of empty bottles of alcohol, officials said. A computer check showed that Bryant’s driver’s license was suspended and that he had five prior DUI convictions, according to police.
Bryant was transported to Troop 3, where he was charged with sixth-offense DUI, a felony, driving while suspended or revoked, and improper tail lights. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $5,101 cash bond.
