A 15-year-old boy was hospitalized following a shooting Saturday evening in Wilmington, according to police.
Officers responded at approximately 8:01 p.m. to the area of West 9th and Jefferson streets, where they located the teenage victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details were not immediately available.
