Victim Robbed At Gunpoint In Prices Corner

The Delaware State Police is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday evening in the Prices Corner area of Wilmington.

At approximately 5:00 p.m. on June 29, 2026, troopers responded to a shopping center in the 3100 block of Kirkwood Highway, near Delaware State Police Troop 6, after receiving a report of an armed robbery.

According to the preliminary investigation, the victim was walking through the parking lot selling candy when an unknown suspect approached and demanded the victim’s property. When the victim initially refused, the suspect displayed a handgun.

The victim then complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect took the victim’s property and fled the scene before troopers arrived.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.
