Officer Okay After Being Shot In Wilmington

Wilmington – On Friday June 23, 2017 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Wilmington Police and Probation and Parole were conducting an investigation in the 2700 block of Thompson Place.

While on scene officers heard gun shots in the area and reported one probation and Parole officer had sustained a graze wound. The officer was transported to Christiana Care Hospital where he was treated and released.
