Man Carjacked In Wilmington

Wilmington – Delaware State Police said that on Sunday, August 14, 2016, a 38 year old male victim was entering his car which was parked outside of Lucy’s Restaurant, located at 3840 N. Market Street, Wilmington.

It was at this point that the man was approached by three male suspects, two of whom were armed with unknown make and model handguns. As the victim exited his vehicle with the intention of confronting the suspects, two of them entered his car and fled in an unknown direction.

The third suspect then responded to a second vehicle and also fled the area in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured. A short time later his vehicle was located, unoccupied, by officers from the Wilmington Police Department, in the 500 block of E. 5th Street. There were no arrests.

The three male suspects were all described as black males, 20-25 years of age. They were all approximately 5’09” tall and had black hair and brown eyes. One of the suspects was last seen wearing a red, white, and blue shirt. There is no further physical or clothing description available at this time. No video surveillance photos are available to be released at this time.
