Wilmington – The Wilmington Police Department (WPD) is currently on scene in 800 block of W. 9th Street conducting a death investigation inside a home.
WPD has confirmed that they are conducting the death investigation but are releasing few details at this time. Reports from the scene indicate that at least one person is dead and a another may be in custody. Those details have not been confirmed by police.
Additional reports indicate that officials have also called fire crews to the scene for a large gas leak in the three story row home.
