Woman Struck By Vehicle On Route 273 Transported To Hospital

Newark – Rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Police have responded to the area of Route 273 and McIntosh Plaza for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Upon arrival, crews found a woman struck that had reportedly been struck by a vehicle as she was crossing the Route 273, near the Denny’s.

The woman is being transported to Christiana Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

All westbound lanes are currently closed
