Newark – Just after 2:30 this afternoon firefighters from the Christiana Fire Company, along with crews from Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder responded to the 300 block of Salem Church Road for reports of fire in the woods.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire in the woods near the A-DEL construction company. After several minutes crews knocked the fire down.
Crews remain on scene mopping up hot spots.
