Firefighters from across New Castle County have responded to 1314 Philadelphia Pike for reports of an apartment fire.
Upon arrival, crews are reporting a kitchen fire in one of the units.
Interior crews are reporting one patient suffering from smoke inhalation. That patient is en route to the hospital.
Command has ordered Philadelphia Pike shut down.
