Happening Now: Middletown, Townsend Firefighters Respond To Maryland For Working Structure Fire

Golts, MD – Firefighters from the Volunteer Hose Company of Middletown, along with crews from Townsend Fire Company are responding to Kent County, Maryland.

The Delaware fire companies have been requested to assist Maryland firefighters on a working structure fire in the 34000 block of Lees Chapel Road.

Maryland Command has just arrived on scene and has confirmed that fire is showing from the building.

Crews are attacking the fire from the exterior of the building.

Multiple tanker trucks have responded to the scene.

Crews are reporting propane tanks and acetylene tanks on the exterior of the building.

9:33 pm Command has ordered an exterior only attack.

Fire Marshals are responding to the scene.
