Happening Now: I-95 On-Ramp Shut Down Due To Injury Accident

Newark – The Delaware State Police, along with rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company has responded to the Route 1 flyover onramp onto I-95 NB for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Upon arrival, crews have shut down the roadway. Crews are reporting that at least three people have been injured as a result of an accident involving two vehicles.

Early indications are that a man standing outside his disabled vehicle may have been pinned between two vehicles when his vehicle was struck.
