Smyrna – Just after 10:00 last evening rescue crews from the Citizens Hose Company of Smyrna along with Kent County Medics, and Delaware State Police responded to S Dupont Blvd at Sunnyside Road in Smyrna for a motor vehicle accident.
Early reports from the scene indicate that two people were injured in the single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. A female patient reportedly suffered a leg injury while a male patient suffered a head injury.
Shortly after their arrival crews on scene advised Kent Center that one patient had fled the scene on foot and that they were trying to locate them.
