Photos From This Morning’s Vehicle Fire In Newark

Just after 9:30 this morning Firefighters from Newark’s Aetna, Hose, Hook, and Ladder responded to Ogletown Road at Library Avenue for a vehicle fire.

Upon their arrival, crews found the car engine compartment on fire and closed the roadway. The fire was extinguished within minutes of the crew’s arrival, however, the roadway remained restricted while the vehicle was removed.

Delaware State Police along with officers from the Newark Police Department also responded to the scene.
