Bethany Beach – Just before 10:00 this, morning Friday, August 9, 2019 rescue crews from the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company along with Sussex County Medics and Trooper 2 were dispatched to Fred Hudson Rd and Heron Circle for reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.
While en route crews learned that the rider was conscious and alert.
Upon their arrival, crews recalled Trooper 2. Initial reports from the scene indicate that the patient was transported to Beebe Hosptial in Lewes.
Crews remained on scene for over an hour and at around 11:00 Troopers reported that Fred Hudson Road was closed between Coastal Hwy and Fresh Pond Blvd.
