New Castle – Just before 3:45 this afternoon, firefighters from across New Castle County responded to the unit block of Jay Drive, in the Chelsea Estates development, for a reported house fire.
Upon their arrival, crews reported smoke and fire showing from the home and began a search for occupants.
Both the primary and secondary search for occupants were negative. No one was found in the home.
Fire Marshals are on scene investigating the origin of the fire.
