Man In Critical Condition After Rollover Crash In Newport

At approximately 12:43 on Thursday, March 11, 2021, New Castle County Paramedics, Minquas Fire Company, Cranston Heights Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to Route 141 South Bound in the area of the Newport Offramp for a motor vehicle collision with a vehicle reported overturned.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found a 64-year-old male patient in the care of emergency medical technicians from Cranston Heights Fire Company. The patient was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Cranston Heights Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport.

A second patient was transported to Christiana Hospital by Minquas Fire Company ambulance with minor injuries.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
