Police Update This Morning’s Shooting In Dover

The Dover Police Department is investigating a domestic-related shooting that occurred on Wednesday morning on Fiddlers Green, according to Sergeant Mark Hoffman.

Hoffman said the Dover Police Department received calls from Gabrielle Clark, 21, of South Carolina, and Clark’s father at the residence regarding a domestic-related matter.

During the call, multiple gunshots were heard by 911 call takers. Clark fled the scene prior to police arrival and is being saught by Dover Police.

During the altercation, Clark shot multiple rounds, striking her father’s vehicle, according to Hoffman. Police say she fled in a silver Nissan Versa with Texas Registration: MKR9410. Clark is described as a black female, wearing a pink/orange shirt.

Hoffman said warrants are currently being obtained for three counts of Reckless Endangering 1st Degree and other related offenses.

During the investigation, W. Reily Brown Elementary School was notified of the incident by police due to the close proximity to the school. While there was no threat to the school, officers were on scene as a precaution.

Just after 10:00 Wednesday morning police and rescue crews responded to the 300 block of Fiddlers Green for reports of a shooting.

Photos from the scene show bullet holes in a vehicle near a home where police are currently investigating.  it’s not clear if anyone was struck by gunfire at the scene, however, initial reports indicate that one person was transported to the hospital from that location.

Several parents have messaged FSU stating that nearby Reilly Brown Elementary School notify them that the school was on lockdown. The parents also stated that as of 10:50 the lockdown had been canceled.
