Delaware State Police Investigating A Tuesday Evening Motorcycle Crash

At approximately 8:31 pm, New Castle County Paramedics (NCCEMS) and Minquas Fire Company of Newport were dispatched to the intersection of West Basin Road and Airport Road for a motor
vehicle collision involving a motorcycle, according to NCCEMS Assistant PIO Oliver Kocher.

Kocher said responding units confirmed reports and advised of a vehicle collision with one patient. Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, a 31-year-old male with minor
injuries and abrasions, in the care of Minquas Fire Company EMTs.

The patient was treated on scene for minor injuries and transported to Christiana Hospital by ground via Minquas Fire Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
