One Dead, Two Hospitalized After 4th Of July Shooting In Wilmington

A Fourth of July celebration in Wilmington ended in gunfire overnight. Wilmington Police said three individuals were shot.

Wilmington Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire, and rescue crews were dispatched to provide medical assistance to the victims. The incident occurred on Tuesday at approximately 11:49 p.m. in the 700 block of East 10th Street.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 20-year-old male gravely wounded, he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Another male, aged 33, was in critical condition and was immediately transported to the hospital. An 18-year-old female, the third victim, was listed in stable condition and was also taken to the hospital.
