In the early hours of July 25, 2023, an incident occurred in Dover, leaving one man injured.
The Delaware State Police swiftly responded to the scene, but the suspect managed to evade capture, prompting an urgent investigation by the Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit.
Officials said at approximately 1:31 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the 200 block of North Governors Boulevard in Capitol Park following a 9-1-1 call reporting a heated argument. Upon arrival, they discovered a 34-year-old male victim with a stab wound to his left hand.
According to witnesses, an unknown black male was responsible for the attack. The man fled the scene, before the troopers’ arrival.
Emergency medical services were called to the scene, and the victim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The extent of his injuries and current condition have not been disclosed.
As of now, there is no further information available about the suspect’s identity or motive.
