Vehicle Accident Closes I-95 Sunday Morning

On Sunday morning, at 1:48, an incident occurred on Interstate 95 South near Churchmans Marsh involving two vehicles.

Emergency services, including the Christiana, Five Points, and Minquas Fire Companies, along with New Castle County Paramedics, were dispatched to the scene. Initial reports indicated that both cars were smoking, and there was a possibility of a trapped individual.

Emergency crews arrived and found four individuals at the accident site. Medical personnel evaluated their conditions and after assessment, at least two patients were transported to nearby medical facilities for further treatment. One patient refused transport. The disposition of the fourth patient is unknown.

Interstate 95 South was temporarily closed to allow emergency personnel to work and clear the accident site.
