Patient Trapped Under Vehicle In Middletown Sunday

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a traffic collision occurred in the Village of Bayberry North in the 400 block of Cicero Xing, leaving a vehicle overturned with a trapped occupant underneath.

At approximately 1:50 AM, emergency services received the 911 call, which brought rescue crews from Middletown, Port Penn, New Castle County Paramedics, and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4.

Upon arriving at the scene, first responders reported that they had one trapped beneath a vehicle.

Using specialized equipment, crews extricated the patient from under the vehicle. The patient’s condition was critical at the time of transport.
