Happening Now: Plane Has Crashed In Chester County

A small aircraft crash has been reported near Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Just before 1:30 on Thursday afternoon, rescue crews responded to 573 Old Wilmington Road in West Caln Township for reports of an aircraft crash. Responding crews learned that the plane had just taken off from Chester County Airport in Coatesville when it went down.

Despite the initial reports that the aircraft had 80 gallons of fuel onboard at the time of the crash arriving crews have reported that there was no fire at the scene.

The crash site is described as being on an Amish farm close to an Amish school. Details are limited at this time. There has been no confirmed information on the number of passengers in the aircraft or any injuries sustained.
