Rollover Crash Sends Man To Hospital Wednesday

On Wednesday evening at approximately 8:34, New Castle County Paramedics and the Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder Company of Newark were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Hopkins Bridge Road and Creek Road in Newark. Upon arrival, fire department units found a single vehicle that had left the roadway and overturned.

Assistant PIO Jamielee Majewski reported that New Castle County Paramedics treated an approximately 25-year-old male for possible internal injuries. The patient was transported in stable condition to Christiana Hospital by ambulance from the Aetna Hose, Hook, and Ladder Company.

The New Castle County Police are currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the vehicle leaving the roadway and overturning.
