Rollover Crash In Newark Sends Two To Hospital

At 2:07 PM today, rescue crews were dispatched to a rollover crash on Route 7 Southbound at Ogletown Stanton Road in Newark.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found a vehicle overturned with two injured occupants. The driver had self-extricated from the vehicle, while the passenger’s method of exiting the vehicle was not immediately clear.

The crash resulted in significant traffic disruptions, causing all southbound lanes on Route 7 to be diverted onto Ogletown Stanton Road.

Both patients were assessed at th scene before being transported to Christiana Hospital. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
