Wilmington Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place Saturday evening at approximately 11:15 p.m. The incident occurred in the 800 block of North Monroe Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers located a 39-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
